Now, let’s get something out of the way: I’ve started at least 20 novels that I never completed.
I’ve completed 2 novellas.
I’ve written 10 short stories, maybe more but probably less.
I’ve written more than 40 poems.
I’ve written 3 songs and 3 fanfics.
And last but most definitely not least: I have written 1 novel.
I might be ashamed of the writing of some of those works, but I am very proud of having written them, because with each word I got better. I know some writers didn’t start writing until college or until adulthood and they probably regretted it. I have had my Dad’s support and without it I might be one of those writers only discovering writing much much later.
